Massage can help reduce stress or calm anxiety which allows your body to recuperate and heal. For the physically active, it increases blood flow, performance and recovery of muscle fatigue. These benefits are a result of hands on manual manipulation of soft tissue.
Massage can help to reduce stress and anxiety, reduce blood pressure and heart rate, and improve well-being----all together this promotes our own body's healing process.
It is hard to live without stress in our busy, technology driven world. But we can find the tools to help reduce stress and its' effects on us. The best way to do this is to provide time for the body to deeply relax. Our core being needs time to let go and just be.
Our massage is based on traditional Swedish massage techniques. We will also incorporate Shiatsu, Polarity, Reflexology, Hot Stones (full session available upon request), Essential Oils, Acupressure, and Core (working with the Cerebral Spinal Fluid) as your body calls for it. Each session is designed for your individual needs and request. Our education, from The New Mexico School of Natural Therapeutics, provided each of us with a degree as a Natural Therapeutic Specialist and we have knowledge of Bach Flower Remedies, Herbalism, Raw Foods, Traditional Chinese Medicine and Homeopathy – please ask us for more information about options for you and your body.
